Trap Shooting

Who is eligible to participate:
The Clay Target Team is open to all 6th thru 12th grade CPS students.
When do they meet:
There are leagues in both the Fall and the Spring.
Wednesday Evenings for 6-8 weeks with a state competition in June.
Where do they participate:
All shooting takes place at the St. Joseph County Conservation Club.
Does is cost anything to participate:
There is a $35 registration fee per athlete per league.
Ammunition and target costs are determined by the team before each league begins.
Are there any additional requirements:
- Possess league approved Firearm Safety Certification
- Meet all school extracurricular activity eligibility requirements.
Please be aware that there is a limit of 40 members in the club. There must be an opening before a new member can join.
