Choir

Choir is open to students in grades 9-12th. Students can contact the director, Mrs. Crystal Sherd-Chew, to sign up. Choir is a graded class that meets each day.

With our high school choir, we have two very large winter and spring concerts. Our collage style concert features all choral ensembles and shows off the solo skills of so many of our students. The highlight of each of the performances is the combine number featuring all of the choirs. The high school choir participates in the homecoming parade with it’s own float singing along to our school fight song. They travel during the holiday times to sing at other school buildings and visit shut ins and elderly to spread cheer. The choirs annually perform at our city wide Tree Lighting ceremony in early December. Senior choir members supply the select song for high school graduation. The high school choir competes in the Michigan School Vocal Music Association (MSVMA) each year earning Superior and Excellent ratings. We have also qualified for state competition. Individual students also compete in the Solo/Ensemble competition for vocal music. We have students every year that receive Superior and Excellent scores and often qualify for state competition! Our choirs travel to show off the skills of our school! Constantine has auditioned and been accepted to perform on the stages of Cedar Point, Six Flags, and Michigan Adventure. Our high school choir has been accepted to perform with Disney World performers this coming April!
